LORETO Preparatory School young swimmer Natalia Farr has been making waves in the pool after winning a stunning six individual titles in the Altrincham Swimming Club sprint championships.
The 10-year-old from Hale has only been swimming for 18 months but already trains for two hours each week day and an hour and half at the weekends and wants to emulate her heroine, Rebecca Adlington, by becoming an Olympic champion.
The popular Altrincham club has a thriving junior section and always welcomes more members through not necessarily to compete with young flyer Natalia who won the 100m medley, 100m freestyle, 100m breaststroke, 50m freestyle, 50m breaststroke and 50m backstroke. Natalia said: “I love swimming and just want to do my very best.”
