DELAMERE Toy Library in Flixton recently opened its new sensory room.
A donation of £3,000.00 from Manchester Airport Community Fund which helped purchase equipment for the new room.
'VIP' Mason McQueenie, was chosen to cut the ribbon as a ‘thank You’ to his dad, Lee, for doing the DIY to help create the room.
Mason attends Delamere School and visits weekly with his class and he loves to relax in the sensory room. The toy library is a charity that was established in 1981 by parents of disabled children but now it is a facility that welcomes all members of the community.
