PUPILS from Wellfield Infant and Nursery School got Bonfire Night off to a bang as they spent a spark-tastic morning at a special bonfire-themed pizza workshop in Asda Altrincham.
The store’s pizza chef, David X, led the workshop, showing the children how to make a pizza and explaining his day-to-day role at the new store’s pizza counter.
The pupils rounded off their morning in the store’s training room with Asda Altrincham’s community life Champion, Christine Ashton, who gave the children a chance to create their very own “firework pizzas”.
She said: “The pizza counter is already really popular with our shoppers at Asda Altrincham.“We loved having the children from Wellfield at the store. They had a fantastic afternoon learning all about pizza-making with our chefs, and especially getting to make their own firework pizzas to take home with them."
