TIMPERLEY-based charity group the 33s summer fair on Sunday, July 12, broke all records, raising more than £5,000.
Chairman John Everton paid tribute to all the friends and members who worked so hard to amass this fantastic total of £5089.37.
The whole day was a fitting tribute to the 70-year history of the charity.
Timperley Conservative and Social Club was bursting to capacity. There were attractions for all ages, and superb prizes in the raffles and auction.
The group’s birthday celebration was marked with a parade through the streets to the site of the former Sylvan Inn, accompanied by the Fianna Phadraig Pipe Band from Wythenshawe.
Special thanks for donations go to: Porters Hairdressers (Hale), author Patrick Stenson, Eamonn Mulvey (Man.Utd), The Deli (Heyes Lane), Taste of India (Timperley Village), Chandra Thai Therapy (Hale), Shandar (by the Pelican), Signalize (Denton), Viv Andrew of 'For Heaven's Cake, Eat Mine!', Mary Peacock, Joanne Boone, Jayne White, Wayne Ninian, Heyes Lane School PTA and Dave Hunter (TCSC chairman).
