PET lovers are being invited to celebrate their best friends at a special service to be held during Flixton Folk Festival.
It is one of many events being held during the week long community arts festival which sets out tocelebrate a community worth sharing.’
Pet service leader, and dog owner Fiona Jenkinson said: “Our pets are always there for us no matter what. They love us unconditionally, and this year as part of the festival I thought it was about time we celebrated that love.”
The pet service at St Michael’s Church on July 16 at 2pm will give thanks for our faithful companions.
Flixton Folk Festival runs from July 11-19, and includes another performance from Flixton Community Choir which was formed as part of last year’s festival.
