MESSENGER readers have submitted some stunning shots of the partial solar eclipse.
Skies over Trafford darkened on Friday, March 20, when the moon passed in front of the sun.
90 per cent of the solar surface was obscured by earth’s satellite at 9.32am, producing a noticeable drop in temperature.
Readers have emailed the Messenger with impressive shots of the crescent sun.
The UK will not see another solar eclipse until August 2026.
