A SALE schoolgirl helped cut the ribbon at the opening of the recently refurbished Sainsbury's store on Curzon Road.
Megan, who attends St Margaret Ward RC Primary, joined the Mayor of Trafford, Councillor Ejaz Malik, shop manager Dave Howarth and other guests for the ceremony.
The youngster won the supermarket's Design a Bag for Life competition and will see her artwork reproduced on 2,000 bags now available in the score.
The refurbished Sale outlet includes a new cafe and deli counter.
Store manager Dave Howarth said: “Our store and café is well used by the community and by upgrading our store and facilities, this shows our commitment to the area. We’re now looking forward to a busy festive period, welcoming customers into our new store.”
