THE Friends of Longford Park has organised a range of events to keep people of all age entertained over the summer.
Visitors can find out more about Disc Golf with an Open Day on July 26 and green fingered people can visit the community allotment, which is open on Sundays from 10am to noon and Thursdays from 6pm to 7.30pm. Anyone interested in finding out more should visit longford-park-allotment.org.uk.
On August 30 Peter Pan flies into north Trafford with a performance of JM Barrie’s classic Peter Pan in the park. The popilar and timeless fairytale is to be staged by Heartbreak Productions, a critically-acclaimed theatre company who are regular visitors to the borough. Anyone interested in booking tickets should visit longfordpp.eventbrite.co.uk.
The Friends also organise Health Walks and the next one takes place on July 31.
