A MOTHER is calling on all dare-devils to skydive in aid of muscular dystrophy this spring.
Thomas Robinson from Crewe was diagnosed with Duchenne muscular dystrophy in January 2008 and his mum, Karen Robinson, is asking people to back the Muscular Dystrophy Campaign’s ‘Make Today Count’.
The event, on March 1, will see 100 people skydive in recognition of the 11 children born each year with the condition which causes muscles to weaken.
Anyone wishing to join the group, dubbed ‘Team 100’, will be asked to raise £399 sponsorship and it is hoped a grand total of £80,000 will be raised for research.
