TRAFFORD Council is backing an initiative to help residents to cut their energy bills.
The 10 Greater Manchester Councils, including Trafford, have joined forces to introduce the ‘Switch to Fix’ scheme.
The initiative aims to help residents get better electricity and gas deals.
Under the scheme residents can compare their energy prices quickly and easily by making one phone call to 0800 988 2426 (this number can also be used as a helpline during the switching process), or by visiting the better energy deals website at betterenergydeals.org.uk.
The scheme will run up to Christmas.
