STAR - The Altrincham FC Supporters Trust, has a busy few weeks planned Christmas raffle tickets are available from the club offices during normal office hours or from the Robins' Shop on first-team home matchdays.

Tickets are £1 each or may be bought in books of five tickets for £5.

You can also get your tickets now for the Club's Christmas Celebration Evening on December 9, after the Kidderminster away game.

Tickets are £10 and include entertainment and a buffet and many of the players will be in attendance.

STAR will also be holding a car boot sale on the morning of Sunday December 3 and you can contact the club to reserve a pitch.

The first team had no game last Saturday because of their earlier exit from the FA Cup.

So last Saturday they staged a training game involving all of the match-fit members of the first-team squad, supplemented by a number of reserves.

The session allowed players to maintain or regain match fitness for next Saturday's home match against Crawley Town.

Kieran Lugsden and Eddie Hussin have gone to Leigh RMI to gain full match fitness.

Altrincham FC has launched a new "Featured Club" scheme to showcase football teams from the Timperley & District Junior Football League and the first featured club will be Timperley Villa.

Young players from the club have been invited to Moss Lane to watch the Crawley game on Saturday.

Other junior clubs will be invited to home league games as the season progresses and it is hoped that the scheme will strengthen the links between Altrincham FC and the local community.

The reserves had no game last week either but this Wednesday (November 15) they are at home to Rossendale United Reserves at Moss Lane at 7.45pm.

Entry is just £2 or free if you have a season ticket.

Half-season tickets are available from the club for the last 12 league games of the season (ring 0161-928-1045).

The Youth team game away to Lancaster City in the Open Cup last Sunday (12th) was postponed after torrential rain on Saturday.This Sunday (19th) Altrincham FC provide the players for the Altrincham & District FA side in the Cheshire FA District Cup against The Wirral at Trafford FC (k.o.2pm).Entry is free.
