THE £500,000 development at Cornerstone Methodist Church in Davyhulme is progressing well, with the completion of the first part of the works.
A new, state-of-the-art gas central heating system has been installed at the Hayeswater Road Church, which has replaced a very old oil burning system.
One of the rooms has also been transformed into a bright open space which is already being used by the Girls’ and Boys’ Brigades, as well as other groups.
The Rev Stuart Smith said: “These are very exciting times at Cornerstone Methodist Church and we wish to share our good fortune, with the local community who are an important part their wider community life.”
