I’VE yet to meet a child who doesn’t LOVE lego and my two sons are certainly no different. So the opportunity to visit the Legoland Discovery Centre at the Trafford Centre on a rainy Saturday morning was met with elation.

To add to the excitement, we arrived at the start of a month-long special event which sees Legoland transformed into the world of ‘Ninjago’.

To celebrate the release of lego Ninjago Airjitzu flyers, visitors get the chance to dive into the Ninjago universe and create their own thrilling escapade..

From now until August 31, kids can build their own Ninjago mask, take part in the Ninjago Laser Maze Challenge, and use their Ninja accuracy skills to build a Ninjago Airjitzu flyer before practising some top tricks at the flyer academy.

Parents and children can then ascend to the magnificent ‘Fly-High-Tower’ to practice their flying skills, and those who can make their Airjitzu soar higher than anyone else will get their very own diploma declaring them an Airjitzu master!

Visitors can also join a fun Ninjago build takeover at Miniland and even have the chance to meet one of the stars of the Ninjago series, ‘Kai’, the Red Fire Ninja, who will be at Legoland Discovery Centre everyday this month at 11am, 1pm, 3pm and 5pm.
