GET ready to laugh as Spamalot hits the Liverpool Empire next week.

The Monty Python-inspired hit show runs from Monday until next Saturday.

The Eric Idle-penned musical has been packing out theatres since it debuted in 2005.

Spamalot tells the legendary tale of King Arthur and the Knights of the Round Table and features a bevy of beautiful show girls, witch burnings, not to mention cows, killer rabbits and French people.

The show features the songs He Is Not Dead Yet, Knights Of The Round Table, Find Your Grail and of course the Nation’s Favourite Comedy Song (Reader's Digest Poll 2009) Always Look On The Bright Side Of Life.

Comedian Marcus Brigstocke returns as Arthur, King of the Britons, Jodie Prenger, winner of the BBC’s contest to find a Nancy in Oliver, reprises her role as the Lady of The Lake and ex-Eastenders star Todd Carty, is back again on coconuts as Patsy.

Tickets, priced £14.50 to £39.50, are available from the box office.
