ALTRINCHAM Little Theatre will present Royce Ryton’s fascinating play The Anastasia File as its next offering.

It questions whether the daughter of Tsar Nicholas II died with the rest of the Russian Imperial family in 1918, or whether she was the girl found in an asylum in 1920.

This brilliantly executed drama presents the case for and against "Mrs Manahan" — using only four actors.

The cast will consist of Mrs Manahan, a police inspector who later plays his own son, and a additional actor and actress who share 30 parts between them.

Audiences are spellbound by this compelling play and its final surprising twist.

* The Anastasia File is at Altrincham Little Theatre from Sunday, March 17, to Saturday, March 23 at 7.40pm. Tickets, priced £10 are available from 0161 928 1113 or email ct.tickets@gmail.com.
