ALTRINCHAM Garrick Playhouse bring their season to an end with the wonderful, feel good musical, Annie.

Based on Little Orphan Annie, the popular comic strip by Harold Gray, the musical has become a worldwide sensation.
Winner of seven Tony awards including best musical, the show features a wonderful score by Charles Strouse and lyrics by Martin Charnin and includes the Broadway hit, Tomorrow.
Annie warms the hearts of the audience as we see her rise from next-to-nothing in New York City. She is determined to find her parents who left her at the orphanage many years before.
Things don’t quite work out the way she has planned but she does manage to thwart the schemes of the evil Miss Hannigan. Eventually she finds a new family with billionaire Oliver Warbucks, his secretary, Grace Farrell and her lovable pooch, Sandy.
