URBIS remembers the greatest club in the world - I thought so anyway - in The Hacienda: Manchester's legendary club until December 4.

On display in the Corridor Gallery, the exhibition looks at some magic moments from the club's history, as experienced by its punters. The photographs, that include previously unseen images by Ian Tilton, present a snapshot of particular musical eras and phases of the club, its themed nights and gigs.

I once danced for two and a quarter hours solid at this place and remember a mate of mine wolfing down sausage and chips in the venue's Gay Traitor caf. I loved that - you could tuck into traditional grub in a club that was, in terms of its design, years ahead of its time.
