FANS of Wizard of Oz will be able to revel in nostalgia when the Judy Garland classic comes to Liverpool Philharmonic Hall this spring.
The 1939 favourite will take viewers over the rainbow with a screening accompanied by the Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra playing live.
It will take place on Saturday, April 18, with two performances at 2.30pm and 7.30pm.
Anyone who buys a ticket will be also able to attend a free pre-concert talk at 6.15pm in the Music Room with Anthony Gabriel and BBC Radio Merseyside’s Angela Heslop to get some expert insight into the night’s main event.
It follows the success of other film events such as the sell out festive screening of Love Actually.
Tickets cost from £25.
