NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN
that the Council of the Metropolitan Borough of Bury intend in not less than seven days from the date of this notice to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and of all other enabling powers, the effect of which will be to prohibit any vehicles from proceeding along:- that the Council of the Metropolitan Borough of Bury intend in not less than seven days from the date of this notice to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and of all other enabling powers, the effect of which will be to prohibit any vehicles from proceeding along:-
1. Crossfield Street, Bury - at is junction with Manchester Road
2.Longton Street, Bury - at is junction with Manchester Road
3. Leyland Street, Bury - at is junction with Manchester Road
4. Lawrence Street, Bury - at is junction with Manchester Road
5.Roach Street, Bury-at is junction with Manchester Road
6.Hollins Brow, Bury - at is junction with Manchester Road

The reason for the proposed order is to enable carriageway resurfacing works to be carried out.
The alternative route will be:
1-3) Via Back Manchester Road. Diversion will be via whichever of the three streets is open. All three streets will not be closed at any one time.
4) Via Leyton Drive, Hampson Mill Lane, and Manchester Road and vice versa.
5) No diversion possible
6) Via Hollins Brow, Hollins Lane, Parr Lane, Sunny Bank Road and Manchester Road and vice versa

The proposed Order will come into operation on Tuesday 08 May 2018 and shall remain in force for a period of up to 6 months, although the anticipated duration of the works is approximately 5 weeks, the closures will only be implemented as and when required as resurfacing work progresses.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN
that the Council of the Metropolitan Borough of Bury have made an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and of all other enabling powers, the effect of which will be to prohibit any vehicles from proceeding along:-Mayfair Avenue, Radcliffe - Temporary Road Closure. that the Council of the Metropolitan Borough of Bury have made an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and of all other enabling powers, the effect of which will be to prohibit any vehicles from proceeding along:-Mayfair Avenue, Radcliffe - Temporary Road Closure.

Northerly side from the southerly kerbline of Ringley Road for a distance of 27
metres in a south westerly direction
The Council has also revoked the following Order :- The Metropolitan Borough of Bury (Ringley Road and Unnamed Access Road Linking Ringley Road and Old Hall Lane, Whitefield) (Prohibition of Waiting) Order 1998 as the restrictions within that Order are included in the new order above. A copy of the Order (including the exemptions contained in it) which comes into operation on 30 April 2018 and a statement of the Council's reasons for making the Order may be inspected at 3 Knowsley Place, Duke Street, Bury BL9 0EJ. If you wish to question the validity of the Order or any provision contained in it on the grounds that it is not within the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, or on the grounds that any requirement of that Act, or any instrument made under it has not been complied with in relation to the Order, you may within 6 weeks of 30 April 2018 apply to the High Court for that purpose.
