ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 SECTION 14(1) THE BOLTON (PUBLIC FOOTPATH NO. OZZ KEARSLEY] (TEMPORARY CLOSURE) (NO.) ORDER 2017
The Borough Council of Bolton intends to make an Order not less than seven days from the date of this Notice.
The effect of which will be operative from 11th December 2017, will be to prohibit all pedestrian traffic from using Public Footpath No.22 Kearsley commencing from a point A off Europa Way at grid reference SD 375675 405126 in a generally southerly direction to point B at grid reference SD 375658 404900; as shown by the bold black line on the Order plan 1 Ker022 over a total distance of approximately 263 metres.
An alternative route will be available commencing from Public Footpath Kearsley 022; point A at grid reference SD 375675 405126, then Kearsley 030; Hulme Road; Kearsley 032; point B at grid reference SD 375658 404900 as shown by the blue line with arrowheads on the Order plan 1Ker022
The closure Is necessary to enable bridge painting works to be carried out which will last for a period of 1 month or until the works are completed, whichever is the earlier. Dated this 1st day of December, 2017 REF: LS/LT/73800

THE BOLTON (HORWICH NORTH AREA, BOLTON) (20 MPH SPEED LIMIT] (N0.30) ORDER 2017
The Council have made an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984; operative from 8th December 2017 its effect will be to impose a speed limit of 20 mph on roads within the Horwich North Area, Bolton. These comprise residential roads in the Horwich area that are not currently subject to a 20mph speed limit as specified in the Order.
A copy of the Order, plans and statement of reasons may be viewed at Highways and Engineering Division, 3rd Floor, Paderborn House, Civic Centre, Bolton, during office hours. Anybody wishing to question the Order's provisions or validity may, within 6 weeks from the 1 st December 2017 apply to the High Court for this purpose.
