NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN
that Bury Metropolitan Borough Council proposes to make the above named Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as follows:-

Introduction of No Waiting at Any time Restrictions
Ringley Road, Whitefield Southerly side between points 15 metres north­west of the northerly kerbline and 15 metres south­east of the southerly kerbline of the Unnamed Access Road linking Ringley Road and Old Hall Lane Unnamed Access Road linking Ringley Road and Old Hall Lane, Whitefield Southerly side from the southerly kerbline of Ringley Road for a distance of 35 metres in a south-westerly direction Northerly side from the southerly kerbline of Ringley Road for a distance of 27 metres in a south westerly direction The Council also intends to revoke in its entirety

The Metropolitan Borough of Bury fRinelev Road and Unnamed Access Road Linking Ringlev Road and Old Hall Lane. Whitefieldi (Prohibition of Waiting) Order 1998 as the restrictions within that Order are to be included in the new proposed order above. A copy of the draft Order (including the exemptions contained within it), a plan showing the roads and area affected and a statement of the Council's reasons for making the Order may be inspected at the reception desk at 3 Knowsley Place, Duke Street, Bury during normal office hours.
Objections to the proposals, together with the grounds on which they are made must be made in writing and sent to Highway Network Management, 3 Knowsley Place, Duke Street, Bury or by email to traffic@bury.gov.uk  quoting reference TM2/17/410 by 8 December 2017. ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984, SECTION 14(1) THE METROPOLITAN BOROUGH OF BURY (BLACKBURN STREET, RADCLIFFE) TEMPORARY CLOSURE ORDER 2017
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN
that the Council of the Metropolitan Borough of Bury intend in not less than seven days from the date of this notice to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and of all other enabling powers, the effect of which will be to prohibit any vehicles from proceeding along:-

Blackburn Street, Radcliffe - Temporary Road Closure. The reason for the proposed order is to enable highway ironworks, HRA and surfacing works. The diversion route will be along - Thomas Street, Dale Street and Pilkington Way. The proposed Order will come into operation Saturday 18th and Sunday 19th of November and then on Saturday 25thand Sunday 26th November (between approx 8.00am and 6.00pm). The reason for the proposed order is to enable the laying of a new gas service. The proposed Order will come into operation on 20th November 2017, anticipated duration of works is 5 days (between approx 8.00am and 6.00pm).
