CONSULTATION PLANNING NOTICE TOWN AND COUNTRY PLANNING (ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT ASSESSMENT) REGULATIONS 2017 NOTICE UNDER REGULATION 25 of the TOWN AND COUNTRY PLANNING (ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT ASSESSMENT) REGULATIONS 2017 Applicant for planning permission: Extra MSA Group Relevant planning authority: Warrington Council Development proposed in application:Environmental Assessment Application, Outline Planning Permission (Major) including details of access - Proposed Erection of a Motorway Service Area including Facilities Building, up to 100 bedroom Hotel, service yard, Fuel Filling Station, Electric Charging Station, parking facilities landscaping and amenity areas and associated infrastructure, all other details (Appearance, Landscaping, Layout and scale) reserved for subsequent applications Address or location of proposed development: Land to the North of Junction 11, of the M62, Warrington Date of planning application: 30 August 2019. Application Reference Number:2019/35726 Spawforths has been instructed by Extra MSA Group ("the Applicant") to prepare and submit an Environmental Statement Addendum ("Addendum") (For the purposes of Regulation 25(2) of the EIA Regulations 2017, the Addendum comprises "any other information") pursuant to planning application 2019/35726. The planning application was validated by Warrington Council on 30 August 2019 and subsequently refused planning permission by Warrington Council, decision notice dated 17 June 2021. Following refusal of the planning application, the Applicant lodged an appeal (reference: APP/M0655/W21/3288180) to the Secretary of State on 2 December 2021, with an inquiry due to commence on 23 March 2022. The Addendum is available for inspection on the internet at or at Council Offices, Warrington Borough Council, 1 Time Square, Warrington, WA1 2NT from 9am to 5pm Monday to Friday. Copies of the Addendum may be obtained by members of the public from Spawforths, Junction 41 Business Court, East Ardsley, Leeds, West Yorkshire, WF3 2AB. The Addendum will be available so long as stocks last, at a charge of £400, and a non-technical summary of the Addendum is available for purchase at a charge of £30. Electronic copies are also available from Spawforths on a CD at a cost of £20.
