METROPOLITAN BOROUGH OF BURY ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984, SECTION 14(1) THE METROPOLITAN BOROUGH OF BURY (MANCHESTER ROAD, BURY) TEMPORARY SUSPENSION OF BUS LANE ORDER 2022 NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Metropolitan Borough of Bury have made an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and of all other enabling powers, the effect of which will be as follows:-To suspend the operation of the bus lane on Manchester Road, Bury between Redvales Road and Gigg Lane.

The reason for the proposed order is to facilitate water main renewal works.
The Order comes into operation on Monday 10 January 2021 and shall remain in
force for a period of up to 6 months, although the anticipated duration of the works is
approximately 8 weeks.
