METROPOLITAN BOROUGH OF BURY ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984, SECTION 14(1) THE METROPOLITAN BOROUGH OF BURY (A58 ANGOULEME WAY, BURY) TEMPORARY CLOSURE ORDER 2021 NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Metropolitan Borough of Bury have made an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and of all other enabling powers, the effect of which will be as follows:-A58 Angouleme Way, Bury between Haymarket St/Knowsley St and Spring Street (including Market St at its junction with Angouleme Way) The reason for the proposed order is to facilitate carriageway resurfacing works. The alternative routes will be as follows:-
that the Council of the Metropolitan Borough of Bury have made an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and of all other enabling powers, the effect of which will be as follows:-A58 Angouleme Way, Bury between Haymarket St/Knowsley St and Spring Street (including Market St at its junction with Angouleme Way) The reason for the proposed order is to facilitate carriageway resurfacing works. The alternative routes will be as follows:-
Via Angouleme Way, Jubilee Way, Peel Way, Derby Way and Rochdale Rd and vice-versa
Via Rochdale Rd, Heywood St, Wellington Rd and Manchester Rd and vice-versa From Spring St via George Street and one of the above Buses will exit via Haymarket Street
The Order comes into operation on Monday 01 November 2021 and shall remain in force for a period of up to 3 months, although the anticipated duration of the works is 4 weeks overnight between 6pm and 6am. Dated 28 October 2021 Council Solicitor

THE METROPOLITAN BOROUGH OF BURY (HARDMAN'S ROAD/BURY OLD ROAD, WHITEFIELD) TEMPORARY NO LEFT TURN ORDER 2021 NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Metropolitan Borough of Bury intend in not less than seven days from the date of this notice to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and of all other enabling powers, the effect of which will be as follows:-To prohibit any vehicles from turning left from:-Hardman's Rd into Bury Old Rd, Whitefield The reason for the proposed order is to facilitate gas utility works The alternative route will be via Thatch Leach Lane, Sandgate Rd, Mount Rd, Heywood Rd and Bury Old Rd
