METROPOLITAN BOROUGH OF BURY ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984, SECTION 14(1) THE METROPOLITAN BOROUGH OF BURY (A58 ANGOULEME WAY, BURY) TEMPORARY CLOSURE ORDER 2021 NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Metropolitan Borough of Bury intend in not less than seven days from the date of this notice to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and of all other enabling powers, the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from proceeding along:-

A58 Angouleme Way, Bury between Haymarket St/Knowsley St and Spring Street (including Market St at its junction with Angouleme Way) The reason for the proposed order is to facilitate carriageway resurfacing works. The alternative routes will be as follows:-
1) Via Angouleme Way, Jubilee Way, Peel Way, Derby Way and Rochdale Rd and vice-versa

2) Via Rochdale Rd, Heywood St, Wellington Rd and Manchester Rd and vice-versa

3) From Spring St via George Street and one of the above Buses will exit via Haymarket Street

The proposed Order will come into operation on Monday 01 November 2021 and shall remain in force for a period of up to 3 months, although the anticipated duration of the works is 4 weeks overnight between 6pm and 6am. Dated 21 October 2021 Council Solicitor

OF WAITING) ORDER 2021 NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Bury Metropolitan Borough Council propose to make the above named Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as follows:-

NO WAITING AT ANY TIME -
Waterside Rd, Summerseat - both sides from the westerly kerbine of East View (east end of Hamer Terrace) for a distance of 62 m in an easterly direction to its junction with Kay Street (northerly end of Kay Street Bridge)
Kay Street, Summerseat -west side from the southerly kerbline of Hill St for a distance of 20 m in a north-easterly direction
Pollards Lane, Summerseat - west side from the southerly kerbline of Hill St for a distance of 5 m in a southerly direction - east side from the southerly kerbline of Hill St for a distance of 10 m in a southerly direction.
Details of the proposals are in the draft Order (including the exemptions contained within them) with plans showing the roads and areas affected and a statement of the Council's reasons for making the Orders. Copies of these may be requested by email (due to Covidl9 changes to standard procedures) by emailing

. All representations whether in support or objecting to the proposals, together with the grounds on which they are made, must be made in writing and sent to 3 Knowsley Place, Duke Street, Bury BL9 0EJ or by email to traffic(Sburv.gov.uk quoting reference TM2/21/513 by 19/11/21.
