ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 THE CHESHIRE WEST AND CHESTER BOROUGH COUNCIL FP 6 BARROW AND FP 6 MICKLE TRAFFORD) TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF PEDESTRIANS ORDER 2021
Notice is hereby given that the Secretary of State for Transport in pursuance of the power conferred upon him by sub-section (5) of the aforementioned Section 15 has approved the Order being extended and continuing in force until 25 January 2023
The effect of the Order is to temporarily prohibit pedestrians on that length of FP 6 Barrow at Barrow Lane at OSGR SJ 46837040 and runs in a generally westerly direction for approximately 750m to a point at OSGR SJ 4610 7044 and then in a generally south westerly direction for approximately 398 metres to OSGR SJ 4590 7012 with the continuation of FP6 Mickle Trafford in a south westerly direction for approximately 169m to OSGR SJ 4579 7000 and then in westerly direction for approximately 141 metres to the junction with FP 8 Mickle Trafford at OSGR SJ 4566 7003.
The closure is necessary because of floodwater damage to a bridge carrying the footpath that makes the footpath unsafe and works are proposed to be executed on or near this footpath. The Order came into force on 26 January 2021 and would have ended on the 26 July 2021. There is an unrestricted alternative route shown on the plan.
