ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 -SECTION 14 THE A64 TRUNK ROAD [BRAMHAM TO HOPGROVE) [TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 -SECTION 14 THE A64 TRUNK ROAD [BRAMHAM TO HOPGROVE) [TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Highways England Company Limited has made an Order on the A64 Trunk Road In the Cities of Leeds and York, and the districts of Selby and Harrogate, to enable routine maintenance works to be earned out in safety. The works are expected to start on Monday 4 January 2020 for 3 weeks, or until completed and will take place between 8pm and 6am. The effect of the Order will be to close, at times during the works, the:
(i) A64 eastbound carriageway from its junction with Bramham Crossroads Roundabout to the nose of the eastbound entry slip road at Askham Bryan Junction, a distance of 15160 metres;

(ii) A64 westbound carriageway from the nose of the exit slip road at Askham Bryan Junction to its junction with Bramham Crossroads Roundabout, a distance of 14960 metres;

(iii) A64 eastbound carriageway from the nose of the exit slip road at Askham Bryan Junction to its junction with Hopgrove Roundabout, a distance of 15330 metres;

(iv) A64 westbound carriageway from its junction with Hopgrove Roundabout to the entry slip road at Askham Bryan, a distance of 15330 metres;

(v) A64 eastbound carriageway from its junction with Hopgrove Roundabout to 571 metres north of Hopgrove Roundabout, a distance of 571 metres;

(vi) A1M northbound and southbound link roads connecting with A64 eastbound and westbound carriageways at Bramham Crossroads

(vii) eastbound exit and westbound entry slip roads at Headley Bar Interchange;

(viii) eastbound entry and westbound exit slip roads at Cock Bridge Junction;

(ix) eastbound entry and westbound exit slip roads at Tadcaster Junction;

(x) eastbound and westbound entry and exit slip roads at Bilbrough Interchange;

(xi) eastbound and westbound entry and exit slip roads at Askham Bryan Junction;

(xii) eastbound and westbound entry and exit slip roads at Askham Bar Junction;

(xiii) eastbound and westbound entry and exit slip roads at Fulford Junction;

(xiv)eastbound and westbound entry and exit slip roads at its junction with A64/A1079/A166;
(xv) ban vehicles from entering or leaving the A64 at its junctions adjacent to Catterton Lane, The Old Street, unnamed road

1050 metres east of Bilbrough Interchange, unnamed road 1910 metres east of Bilbrough Interchange, unnamed road 2140 metres east of Bilbrough Interchange, Lowfield Lane, Paradise Lane.
(xvi) laybys adjacent to the above lengths of carriageways in (i), (ii), (iii), (iv), (v) and (vi).

Traffic signs will indicate the extent of the prohibitions (which will not apply to emergency service vehicles or vehicles being used in connection with the said works or for winter maintenance or traffic officer purposes).
