UNDER SECTION 14/1 OF THE ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 WEST BERKSHIRE DISTRICT COUNCIL (THE COUNCIL) INTENDS TO MAKE ORDERS
AS FOLLOWING (HIGH STREET, STREATLEY) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) ORDER 2020 The Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make an order the effect of which will be to prohibit any vehicle from proceeding in any direction over the High Street in Streatley between its junction with Church lane, and the West bank of the Streatley and Goring Bridge.
The alternative route for all vehicles affected by the Order is via A329 Reading Rd, High St (Pangbourne), Whitchurch Rd (B471), B4526 (toward Goring), and vice versa. The purpose of this Order is to enable works to take place on or near the highway, namely for Thames Water to reinstate the carriageway surface.
The proposed Order will come into effect on 13th July 2020. It is envisaged that the closure will be in place between the hours of 09.30 to 15.30 on Sunday 27th September 2020.
(VARIOUS SECTIONS OF THE A4 BATH ROAD IN TILEHURST, HOLYBROOK & THEALE) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF DRIVING, WAITING & SPEED RESTRICTION)
ORDER 2020
The Council has made an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit any vehicle from proceeding (or proceeding in excess of 30mph) in any direction over the entire length of the roads listed in the Schedule below. To facilitate the works, no parking will be allowed on the roads that need to be closed or their diversion routes up to 12 hours prior to the start date of any works until their conclusion.
The alternative route for all vehicles affected by the Order will depend on the section to be closed and will be signed site.
The purpose of this Order is to enable works to take place on or near the highway, namely for all works associated with carriageway resurfacing to take place. The proposed Order will come into effect on Monday 29th June 2020. The exact dates and times of all closures will be advertised on site prior to the closure.

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) ORDER 2020
The Council has made an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit any vehicle from proceeding in any direction over Hangar Road in the parish of Burghfield between its junction with Arrowhead Road and its junction with Unnamed Road from Hangar Road to
Hose Hill.
The alternative route for all vehicles affected by the Order is via Unnamed Road from
Hangar Road to Hose Hill, Hose Hill, Theale Road, Hermits Hill, Reading Road, Hollybush
Lane, Whites Hill, Kingston Lane, Unnamed Road from A4 to Sulhampstead Hill, A4 (Bath
Rd), The Green (Theale) Church St, Station Road, and vice versa.
The purpose of this Order is to enable works to take place on or near the highway namely
for Thames Water to carry out maintenance/repairs to a Fire Hydrant.
The proposed Order will come into effect on 29th June 2020. It is envisaged that the
closure will be in place between 30th June and 2nd July 2020.
Unless stated otherwise the above orders shall remain in force for a period of eighteen months, or until the works are complete, whichever is the soonest, they will not take effect until approved traffic signs have been erected. Final details of the closure can be viewed on roadworks.org
