Notice is hereby given that, in not less than 7 days from the date of this Notice, the Council intends to make Orders under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Footpath No. 5, Poulton-w-Feamhead & Footpath No. 20. Woolston (Footpath Closure) Temporary Order 2020
The effect of which will be to introduce a footpath closure on Footpath No. 5 (Poulton-w-Faarnhsad) & Footpath No. 20 (Woolston) from its jet. with New Cut Ln for a distance of approx. 350m in a westerly direction. The Order will be effective from 5th March 2020 for 6 weeks, when signed on site. The alternative route will be via New Cut Ln, Manchester Rd & vice versa. The closure is required for enhancement & resurfacing of the public right of way. Ref: High/2101

Underbridge Ln. Appleton (Prohibition of Driving) Temporary Order 2020
The effect of which will be to introduce a prohibition of driving on Underbridge Ln from its jet. with Chester Rd to the Bridgewater Canal underbridge. The Order will be effective from 18th March 2020 for 1 week, when signed on site. The closure is required to allow Scottish Power to carry out work to their overhead line. Ref: High/2099

A562 Widnes Rd (30 mph Speed Limit) Temporary Order 2020
The effect of which is to introduce a 30 mph speed limit restriction on A562 Widnes Rd for a distance of 200m either side of its jet. with the access road to Fiddlers Ferry Power Station. The Order will be effective from 2nd March 2020 for 8 weeks when signed on site. The restriction is required for replacement of the existing drainage system. Ref: High/2097

Old Alder Ln (Prohibition of Driving) Temporary Order 2020
The effect of which is to introduce a prohibition of driving on Old Alder Ln for its entire length. The Order will be effective from 2nd March 2020 for 12 weeks, when signed on site. The alternative route will be via Alder Ln, Watery Ln, Mill Ln & vice versa. The closure is required to allow tor emergency bridge works. Ref: High/2093
Tan House Ln & Farmers Ln (Prohibition of Driving) Temporary Order 2020
The effect of which is to introduce a prohibition of driving as follows: Tan House Ln - From its jet. with Burtonwood Rd to its jet. with Farmers Ln; Farmers Ln - From its jet. with Tan House Ln to its jet. with Fir Tree Ln. The Order will be effective from 2nd March 2020 for 12 weeks, when signed on site. The alternative routes will be: Tan House Ln via Burtonwood Rd, Clay Ln, Chapel Ln, Fir Tree Ln & vice versa; Farmers Ln via Fir Tree Ln, Chapel Ln, Clay Ln, Burtonwood Rd, Tan House Ln & vice versa. The closure is required to allow for emergency bridge works. Ref: High/2094

Wellfield St Passageway Gable of 92 (Prohibition of Driving) Temporary Order 2019 Notice is hereby given that the Council made an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 on 19th December 2019. The effect of which was to introduce a prohibition of driving on Wellfield St Passageway Gable of 92 from its jet. with Wellfield St to its jet. with the passageway at the rear of 92 to 130 Wellfield St. The Order was to be effective from 20th January 2020 for 4 weeks, however due to issues on site the closure is now required for a further 2 weeks, when signed on site. The closure is required to allow tor the installation of a new gas main. Ref: High/2076
