THE M6 MOTORWAY (JUNCTION 17 NORTHBOUND ENTRY SLIP ROAD) [TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2020
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Highways England Company Limited (Company No. 09346363) intends to make an Order on the M6 Motorway, in the Borough of Cheshire East, in the County of Cheshire, to enable resurfacing works and other general maintenance works to be carried out in safety. The Order will ban all traffic from the M6 northbound exit slip road at Junction 17. The prohibition is expected to be in place overnight between 22:00 hours and 05:00 hours (continuing to 06:00 hours on Saturday and Sunday mornings) during a period starting on Saturday 4 January 2020 and ending on Thursday 18 June 2020. However, works may start and continue between the same times on subsequent nights or continue until completed. Diversion routes via alternative junctions of the M6 Motorway will be well signed. The prohibition will not apply to emergency services, works, winter maintenance or traffic officer vehicles and will only apply during such times and to such extent as shall be indicated by traffic signs.
