Noreen Grimshaw

I am so very saddened to hear about Mrs Grimshaw, the most wonderful and truly amazing Teacher I was always so grateful to have known and been taught by, she was indeed an inspiration and her wise words and teachings have never left me, since I left Wellington Road 30 years ago. I never forgot her and to me, she was most definitely the very best Teacher at that school (or anywhere in my opinion!) and I always hoped I would see her/'bump' into her again one day, in fact, it was only a few days ago that I was thinking about her, as I always wanted to personally thank her for all that she did for me during my time at Wellington Road and how much I admired and respected her and how I had never forgotten all that she taught me - I wanted to tell her that she really was my inspiration and I actually had a lot to thank her for! I loved her character and spirit and her special and unique way that she taught, she was the only part of my time at that school that I look back on with fondness!! She was an amazing lady and her dedication and passion for teaching and genuinely wanting to help you become more than you could dream of is a small part of who she was. I feel 'gutted' that I am now unable to ever tell her this but I hope somehow, somewhere, she will know. God bless all her family. Thank you Mrs Grimshaw, for so much, you contributed immensely to making me the person that I am today xxx
