Look out for Trafford's new mobile library which is out and about in the borough, visiting 42 stops a week across the borough. The state of the art vehicle has over 2000 items of stock for all ages, including talking books, DVDs, large print books, quick reads and a toy library on request.

In 2006 we launched ‘Trafford TV’, where every Tuesday, a news update is provided by our budding council reporters over the internet. Plus at the end of every month our reporters quiz 'experts' to talk in depth about a specific subject. For example, at the end of April we spoke to Inspector Brendan O’Brien about neighbourhood policing and more recently John Lamb - Trafford's Director of Environment Strategy about the roads. You can watch Trafford TV at www.trafford.gov.uk/traffordtv Next week, residents, including young people, are invited to have their say over plans for a skateboarding facility at Woodsend Park at a special neighbourhood forum on 15 July.

It’s taking place at Wellacre Technology College, Irlam Road, Flixton where there will be a chance to have a look at the plans in full.
