Youth Service review • Mark explained about review. • Their questionnaire could be confused with ours. • Mark asked about a definition of youth work he had worked on.• Discussion about the difference between youth work and teaching • Mark to put something in about youth work being with vulnerable young people.

7. Campaign areas questionnaire • Mark to do a paper and online version that members can look at

8. Myplace Fuse update • Simon apologised that the meeting cabinet members went to didn’t go every well.• There are 5 sub groups which young people can get involved in: operations, projects and events, marketing and advertising, finance and outdoor activities.• Meetings are the last Wednesday in each month • Mark asked if it would be possible for cabinet members to attend from 6pm until 7pm as we meet the same night. Simon will check if that’s ok

9. Trafford Young Carers group • Natasha explained what a young carer is • They have a group in Trafford we could visit. Cabinet agreed. Lots of members interested. • Mark to contact worker and find out when they meet.

10. Youthforia June 2nd Bury • It’s in half term. We could go on the tram • Lots of interest.

11. Diverse Communities Forum feedback • Been looking at plans for Trafford’s governance meetings including the children’s trust board • Chris is interested in attending is Sarah or Naadhirah can’t make it.

12. Greater Manchester transport plan • Deferred

13. Altrincham development next meeting • We have been offered the chance to take part in a consultation on the future of Altrincham next meeting. It will take the whole meeting • Cabinet agreed this sounds interesting

14. Youth Cabinet Logo • Need a logo • Mark brought examples of other youth cabinets plus some members have already designed.• Members had a go at designing a new logo • Mark to scan them into computer and we can vote on the best one. Oliver will then work on it at Gorse Hill to make it look professional.
