Care for a dance?
5:16pm Thursday 12th July 2012 in Your Letters
DEAR residents of Trafford, I'm an ordinary 34-year old teacher setting out to do something a bit extraordinary this summer and autumn - dance every step of the way from John O'Groats to Land's End for charity.
The problem is, although I love dancing, I can't really do it (I dance like a dad-at-a-wedding), so I'm looking for dancing heroes from Manchester to dance part of the way with me.
Maybe you can dance the perfect Highland fling, have danced folk for 50 years, or are a swing dance superstar - however you dance I'd love to dance a bit of Britain with you - anything from a few metres to a mile or more.
If you fancy dancing free along the pavements of England as part of something totally unique, please let me know at http://www.dancebritain.com/heroeswanted. I'll be dancing through Manchester on September 15 and September 16, and also passing through Eccles, Stretford, Altrincham and Lymm.
Thanks - looking forward to dancing with you.
