Kathleen tribute

ASHTON-on-Mersey Townswomen’s Guild wish to thank The Friends of Ashton Park and Trafford Council for their help in placing a bench in memory of Kathleen Alcock in Ashton Park on the corner of Grosvener Road.

Kathleen joined the TG in 1964 and was a hard working member who contributed much to Guild life right up until she passed away on May 19, 2010.

She would, the members hope, be delighted that the bench is in the shade on the route she frequently took from her home in Dumber Lane to the meetings at Whitefield United Reform Church.
