Jubilee joy

THE jubilee celebrations in Ashton village were absolutely fabulous, bringing everyone together – including the Picnic in the Park and the fun day.

A big thank you to the organisers and the helpers for making it all happen.

As I went through the village on Sunday morning, I couldn’t believe that barely 12 hours earlier there had been so much going on with so many people around. There wasn’t a scrap of litter of any kind to be found anywhere.

Thank you again for organising such a thoroughly enjoyable and memorable occasion.
