Praise for firefighters

I AM writing about the courageous firemen from Sale, Altrincham and Stretford who took part in the rescue of people from a car which had plunged into the canal in Timperley.

Their experience and training enabled them to make a co-ordinated and quick rescue in a dangerous situation.

Thanks go to these firemen, together with the police and ambulance service who continually risk their lives to keep the public safe.
