  • "You clearly missed the the point of my complaint judging by the content of your response which was equally as rude. I would have been quite happy to pay car parking fees but assumed that parking on the side roads without yellow lines was acceptable and due to the circumstances I found myself in I was more concerned with simply parking than noticing"private parking only" signs and upsetting a few snobbish Hale" types" and saving a few measly pounds. A friends funeral tends to put things in perspective, how dare you assume I did not want to pay, I would be interested to know what part of my initial letter led you to such an assumption ? No Mr Smith, you are a very arrogant and rude individual and I am truly sorry that I encroached on your few feet of tarmac for that hour, I just hope that when you are grieving others will show you more grace than you offered me with your selfish response."

Rude note

MAY I thank the person responsible for the rude note left on my car while parked on Heath Road in Hale village last Thursday afternoon.

I had been attending a funeral wake in the Cheshire Midland pub and parked so as not to block any private driveways on that road.

The note read as follows: “You are parking on private property without permission. There is a public car park with plenty of spaces in Brown Street, behind Hale station.”

Without permission of whom might I ask?

There is nothing to suggest that Heath Road is private, and I was parked for an hour.

Shame on you. I should be the one complaining that you interfered with my vehicle, which by the way IS private property.
