THE anonymous correspondent, (Messenger June 15) who complained about a label being attached to their green bin, should be aware that One Trafford attached these to any bins not displaying the label people received after subscribing to the green bin charge, which incidentally, is a shade over 67 pence per week.
Presumably the appeal of driving a several mile round trip to the tip is greater than the meagre charge for collection by the council.
Perhaps these are the same people who drive several miles to buy petrol a few pence a litre cheaper than their local filling station.
Then with the prospect of an increase in fuel prices, happily queue, with the engine running, to fill up at prices they queued to avoid before the previous price increase.
And One Trafford need to get real?
