RE: ('Back on the road .. to more work' on Stamford new Road, Altrincham).
IT makes one wonder how much longer this project is going to go on.
It seems to be very much like the cases one hears of, where a man knocks at the door, and says "Oi"ll tarmac ye droive soir,it' ll only cost ye £100".
The result of this sort of offer usually ends up costing vastly more than it would have cost to have the job properly done in the first place.
It seems to me that this is exactly what has happened with Stamford New Road.
It makes one wonder how this company was ever selected to do the job in the first place.
If they were the cheapest, it just goes to show,you get what you pay for.
What grandiose plan do our glorious council have in mind next? What are the plans for what is being erected on the original hospital site? Will the new Medical Centre be constructed with similar foundations to Stamford New Road? Will it have to be demolished and rebuilt in the future?
Who knows,incompetence knows no bounds !
