Garden waste charge: "If I eat grass it becomes 'food waste' - it's a good way of saving £35"
I WAS thinking… what does grass taste like?
Loads of animals depend on it, so I'm sure it wouldn't do me any harm.
Anyway, I mowed my lawn, serve up a huge plate of lovely fresh grass and excitedly took my first mouthful.
Not impressed! Grass isn't so tasty.
The plus side is that this is now "food waste" so I am allowed by Trafford Council rules to put it in my green bin.
Some might call this a loop hole, some might get a taste for grass, who knows?
Either way it's a good way of saving 35 quid.
