READER Alan Walker., of Davyhulme, took this photo of a heron at The Millenium Nature Reserve at Flixton.
He said: "I had been watching this heron when another heron flew into its territory and a squabble broke out between the two of them and this one lost out on the territory. I captured this picture as the heron was about to take flight.
