IF the council insists on charging to empty green bins, it will be responsible for the consequences:
* An increase in flytipping.
* It will force myself (and others) to drop my charity monetary support to fund payment of bin service.
* Hedges left uncut.
* Discouraging older generation from tending their own garden.
* Removal of service could influence voting.

It was a shock to read it will cost £5m to have a Manchester Mayor. I say 'forget it'.
We want the necessities kept - lollipop crossings, NHS help - more trained nurses and doctors; and adequate numbers of firefighters and police officers to allow them to do their jobs safely and efficiently.
