RE January 12 issue of SAM.

Same issue, Page 4:- Safety overhaul of Sevenways roundabout.
I have mixed feelings and concerns, living on Derbyshire Lane.
With infirmity and greatly impaired vision I have to negotiate at my peril this extremely busy area almost daily.
Vehicles rarely indicate their route around the seven roads to mere pedestrians, but often indicate a turn-off at an incorrect point, making it well nigh impossible to judge when to start crossing to the opposite pavement.
Hence I shall be glad of intended plans to slow down traffic speeds, giving me a better chance of survival!
Alternatively, having lived here over 40 years, through all the changes creating this stream of traffic speeding past my home, I have to wonder: will the reduction in flow, resulting in higher volumes of fumes, actually speed up my probable dementia?
Seems like I'm on borrowed time whichever way I look at it.
