I’VE put pen to paper to write a letter to point out that as far as I am concerned the world is being run upside down; in that I mean billions of pounds and dollars are being spent on the likes of the trident nuclear missile.

Britain has only twenty eight frigates and need thirty five to be able to defend our nation in case of outbreak of war.

I do believe that we should look after each other in this world and £30million per day is good to give for foreign aid but why not give £20 million to them and £10 million to cancer research UK.

Because I have cancer I am asking for money for research and development but it is also for things like Alzheimer’s and kidney disease.

It’s not right surely that people can be suffering from these debilitating diseases and we spend billions on war-making materials to kill and maim people instead of curing and caring for ourselves. Speak to your MP or whoever you think will help to rectify the situation.
