Greenbelt is sacrosanct land which the council may sell on a whim while developers are sitting on huge land banks.
Multiple dwellings replace single houses on large plots.
Trafford has plenty of scope for residential development.
More houses mean more motor vehicles, even more congestion, danger and traffic gridlock on our narrow highways. Trafford's priority must surely be minimum 20,000 off-road car park spaces to clear all roads and pavements of parked vehicles now!
Alternatively, a blanket road parking fee/fine would wipe out all council tax but still not solve the problem that blights our streets.
