Urmston Lions arrange a 'brilliant bonfire and firework display'
I MUST congratulate the Urmston Lions on again producing a brilliant bonfire and firework display at Abbotsfield Park on November 5.
Not only was the organisation first rate and the crowd attending immense, but the firework display was, for me, even better than in previous years.
A small band of very hard workers not only manage to create a wonderful display and entertain a large number of people, but also generate a significant amount of money to be donated to local charities, my own among them.
Well done everybody involved, and long may this event continue.
