My heart jumped for joy on Tuesday last, whilst working in my garden next to the entrance to Worthington Park. Up rolls a tree surgeon in his wagon followed by a chipper.
At last! At last! I thought Trafford have heeded me at last. After two years of requesting them to cut the overhanging trees from the park at my property.
I waited 20 minutes before walking into the park in search of the tree surgeon. I came across the park gardener and asked him where the surgeon was working. He has gone, he said.
He came in to chip a small branch that fell from a tree two and a half years ago.
This is the way our local council is spending our council tax wisely. ‘Tree’ cheers Trafford/Amey.
