I JUST wanted to write in and say how amazing Trafford is. I live in Stretford but have weekly girls nights out with my friends in Urmston, Altrincham, Sale and here in Stretford.
The musical talent we have here is fantastic. I don't know if other boroughs have a similar variety of talent as Trafford or is it perhaps just us?
From open mic nights to tribute acts, bands to solo artists we have it all in Trafford.
The award winning band Loose Change, who recently won an award for playing for charity, are entertaining and keep plodding on in all weathers and for a very worthy cause. They kept Urmston's new market rocking.
Another award winner, Wayne Devlin 'The Voice of Trafford', croons like Frank Sinatra and if that's your thing then he's your man.
He sang to make sure the NHS party in Golden Hill Park went swingingly!
The open mic nights in pubs and clubs throughout Trafford with people like Elvis Murphy entertaining the locals in a fun and engaging way.
Trafford has it all and I think its the musical heart that beats the loudest in our area. Talent is abundant here and I hope it continues to grow here.
