Cllr Rob Chilton, St Mary's Ward, makes several excellent comments in his post in the June 30 issue (Time for us to figure this out).

The most important point is that "The UK is not a corrupt dictatorship”. I agree wholeheartedly.

Unfortunately the EU is a corrupt dictatorship. Its President was Prime Minister of Luxembourg, before being dismissed in disgrace for amongst other things, overseeing money laundering and tax avoidance by several large multinationals.

Now Mr Juncker proposes that all the EU countries not members of the Eurozone should be forced to join that 'one size fits all' currency. We didn't hear about that before the referendum did we?

Now that we are 'out', the Eurocrats are apparently being offensive and even more dictatorial.

For two years or more we must remain in this corrupt dictatorship and pay up whilst receiving abuse in return.

Cllr Chilton's comment “It will take many years to repair the damage that has been done”.

Would that be the damage caused by 'Vote Leave' or the forty odd years damage to British industry, sovereignty and culture since we joined the EU?
